Ajuga 'Chocolate Chip' is a fast growing plant with green leaves that have a bronze underside. Ajuga 'Chocolate Chip' is a cultivar that's a bit slower growing than it's wild counterpart, but still can grow quite fast. When it blooms, Ajuga 'Chocolate Chip' has bluish purple flowers.Ajuga 'Chocolate Chip' will grow to approximately 4" in height and is excellent for use in a container garden, or even outside in a shady spot in zones 3-9.Ajuga 'Chocolate Chip' does not like soaking wet feet, but should never be allowed to dry out. Ajuga 'Chocolate Chip' has low to moderate light needs. Brighter light will result in a lower growing plant. Ajuga 'Chocolate Chip' will initially grow as a clumb, then will send off runners that it will use to spread.
