Inspired by the cerulean waters of the Caribbean Sea, this Xezo Architect model features a rich azure blue hue. To achieve such a complex coloration, many trials were conducted with different color palletes until the desirable azure color was finally perfected. An intricate guilloche engraving lies beneath the lacquer. Every layer of the colored lacquer went through a manual polishing before the next layer was applied. This adds a gradual increase in luster that enhances the finish. Finally, multiple layers of translucent lacquer were also applied on the solid brass body to give extra shine, dimension, and protection. Each pen has a screw-on cap that secures on the pen barrel in capped position. To post the cap on the barrel's end, one must firmly press down on top of cap until it clicks. All fittings are .999 platinum plated. Each pen is individually numbered, and produced in a limited edition. The fine-width German-made steel fountain nib with iridium point assures smooth, skip-free writing.
